Boys' basketball: Zena Edosomwan is rising prospect

Zena Edosomwan is his name, and what a basketball player he is becoming. The 6-foot-8 junior from North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake scored 35 points and had 11 rebounds Saturday in an 80-60 victory over Santa Monica in the Fairfax State Preview Classic.

He has scored 20 or more points in six consecutive games and grabbed 10 or more rebounds in five consecutive games. Harvard-Westlake improved to 20-2.

Los Angeles Windward received 26 points from Wesley Saunders in a 73-71 win over Torrey Pines.

Los Angeles Price got 20 points from Norvel Pelle to defeat Mission Hills Alemany, 66-61. Max Guercy scored 21 points for Alemany.
