Boys' basketball: Taft wins in East Coast trip
Kevin Johnson scored 26 points and had 14 rebounds to lead Woodland Hills Taft to a 72-56 victory over New York Mt. Vernon in a game in Springfield, Mass.
Taft is 14-2 and resumes West Valley League play on Wednesday against Woodland Hills El Camino Real.
