If Woodland Hills Taft plays like it did in the third quarter on Friday against Reseda Cleveland, there’s no team in the City Section that will come close to the Toreadors.

Taft scored the first 20 points of the third quarter and held Reseda Cleveland scoreless for nearly six minutes in the quarter en route to a 69-32 West Valley League victory. Taft led, 31-20, at halftime and 57-25 after three quarters. A running clock was used at the five-minute mark of the fourth.
