Boys’ basketball: Guerrero keeps scoring for St. John Bosco

Cezar Guerrero has become a scoring machine for Bellflower St. John Bosco. His latest effort was a 38-point performance in a 71-68 overtime victory over Anaheim Servite in the Trinity League.

In the Mission League, North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake and Encino Crespi stayed unbeaten. Harvard-Westlake defeated Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 61-45. Crespi got 19 points from Matt Mounier in a 68-50 win over St. Francis. Los Angeles Loyola defeated Alemany, 69-49.

In a nonleague game between coaching roommates, Chaminade defeated El Camino Real, 63-45.

North Hollywood Campbell Hall defeated Pacific Hills in overtime, 71-64. Austin McBroom had 31 points and Cole Huff 22 points.
