Boys’ basketball: Brendyn Taylor is playing for Fairfax

Junior guard Brendyn Taylor, originally declared ineligible by the City Section after transferring from View Park Prep to Fairfax, apparently gained his eligibility on appeal because he’s playing for the Lions in a tournament in Canada.

He had 26 points in a 75-48 victory over Enver Creek. Taylor and another junior guard transfer, Landon Drew from Woodland Hills Taft, should give a boost to the Lions in Western League play.
