A fun opening-round game will be between Brentwood and Beverly Hills.

Charles Solomon became the head coach at Brentwood this year after many years as an assistant coach at Beverly Hills, and will be coaching against his former team for the first time on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Beverly Hills.

Solomon, a self-proclaimed Norman fan who still attends games, said his former players have been sending him text messages and some teachers have circled the game on their calendars.

But he said, ‘When we step on the floor, we are rivals.’
