Football: Westlake to open 2011 in Sacramento

Westlake Village Westlake will open its 2011 season with a road game against Sacramento Del Oro during zero week.

The Warriors are expected to engage in another three-way duel with Westlake Village Oaks Christian and Ventura St. Bonaventure for the Marmonte League championship and Northern Division supremacy, but it’s a little early to predict the favorite considering transfer season will begin in January, and Oaks Christian and St. Bonaventure are supposed to be getting several transfer students.
