Thousand Oaks Coach Mike Leibin said he has reviewed video of all the receptions made by receiver Richard Mullaney and determined that Mullaney set a state record with 122 receptions this season. He had been previously credited with 120, one short of the record. Leibin said two receptions that were hook-and-lateral plays had not been given to Mullaney.

Mullaney had 1,703 yards and 20 touchdowns. The old record was held by receiver Steve Martinez from Los Angeles Wilson. Leibin will submit the record to Cal-Hi Sports.
