Strong safety Robert Stiefler intercepted a timing pass by Brookside Christian quarterback Tony Rodriguez and returned it 39 yards for a touchdown and Bishop’s has taken a 13-0 lead with 7:49 left in the first quarter of the Division IV state bowl game.

Rodriguez entered the game having thrown 46 touchdown passes and only four interceptions but has been picked off twice in the first two series.
