Football: Team HEAL is helping Crenshaw, Carson

There’s at least one subject that should unite Crenshaw and Carson fans in preparation for Saturday’s City Section Division I final at the Coliseum. That is saluting Team HEAL, a not-for-profit medical program that provides trainers to high schools, and two of them are Crenshaw and Carson.

Its founder is Dr. Clarence Shields of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic. In this time of tight budgets, any City Section school that has a trainer should be feeling quite fortunate.
