Bob Ladouceur, in his 32nd season as football coach at Concord De La Salle, said earlier this week about his Saturday opponent, Anaheim Servite, ‘I’m trying to look for a weak spot and I can’t find one.’

And on Servite’s Troy Thomas, ‘Troy Thomas has done a great job. He brought that program up. They’re legit.’

So that’s the setup in the CIF state championship Open Division bowl game at the Home Depot Center. Servite is 14-0, De La Salle is 13-0.

Thomas is equally impressed with the Spartans, saying, ‘They’re so good.’
