Anaheim Servite, bidding for a state bowl championship this weekend, could be the top team in the state in 2011, and the Friars have put together another challenging schedule of opponents.

Besides playing in the Trinity League and having to face top opponents next season in Santa Margarita and Bellflower St. John Bosco, Servite will open against San Diego Section champion Oceanside, then play La Puente Bishop Amat, section champion La Habra, Huntington Beach Edison and Nevada state champion Bishop Gorman.

At least no one can say the Friars are resting on this season’s accomplishments.
