Football: Hollywood coach resigns
The City Section and Hollywood High has lost one of its most promising young coaches, Ceasar Sandoval, who announced his resignation after three seasons as head coach of the Sheiks.
Under Sandoval, Hollywood turned around its program and finished 7-4 this past season. He also guided the development of All-City quarterback Jeremi Ross, who was a junior this season.
Sandoval said he resigned for personal reasons and will take some time off before returning to coaching one day. Hollywood has not named a successor.
