One minute Alemany was on the verge of a touchdown. Now the Warriors are down, 21-7, to Servite with 29 seconds left in the second quarter.

Servite’s Jordan Jones blocked a 30-yard field-goal attempt by Alemany’s Martin Meza with 1:10 left. Then Malik Felton broke off a 63-yard touchdown run.

Alemany had the ball for most of the second quarter, trying to be patient and slowly move the ball using Vernon Adams’ running. The Warriors started on their own 20 and moved to the Servite 12. On third down, Adams threw a perfect pass to Zach Hernandez in the right corner of the end zone. Hernandez dropped the pass with 1:17 left in the quarter on the 16th play of the drive.
