Football: Division II final could have lots of TDs

The toughest question this weekend involving the CIF state championship bowl games at Home Depot Center in Carson involves trying to figure out how many points will be needed to win the Division II game between Gardena Serra and Folsom.

"I'm sure this is going to be a very stressful game for both defensive coordinators," Folsom Coach Kris Ricahrdson said.

Folsom's senior quarterback, 5-foot-8 Dano Graves, has passed for 59 touchdowns and ran for 20 touchdowns. Yes, that means he's Doug Flutie Jr.

Serra, of course, has SMU-bound Conner Preston at quarterback.

The two coaches talked about the game on Monday at the Home Depot Center.

This game by far will be the most exciting game. Serra of course has a case to make this weekend for the best in the State. They can only play and beat who is on their schedule to all doubters out there.
While Folsom on the otherhand, is coming of a game in which they knocked off the Grant Pacers. Oh my what a game this weekend in Carson.

Just in case you missed Ron Cuccia back in 1977-78, then come out & watch Dano Graves.....I played at Fairfax in during this era and I now coach in the Sierra Foothill League in Sacramento. I had the opportunity to coach against Folsom twice this season (regular & playoffs) 2 of our 4 loses. He & Tyler Trosin (#3) are the real deal... Watch Serra, don't under estimate the skill from up North.

Folsom brings the Trophy back home....
