Football: De La Salle wins coin toss but defers

December 18, 2010 |  7:39 pm

Concord De La Salle is considered the visiting team, so its captains had the call on the coin toss. The Spartans won but deferred to the second half, so Anaheim Servite will receive to start the game.

De la Salle is dressed in their road white jerseys, silver pants, silver helmets and green trim. Servite is donning its home black jerseys and pants with black helmets and white numbers.

We're moments away from the start of the Open Division state bowl and hopefully it will be more competitive than today's first two games, both blowout victories for the Northern California schools.
