Football: Blogging from Alemany-Servite

If you can't make it to Cerritos College Saturday night for the Pac-5 Division semifinal between Mission Hills Alemany and Anaheim Servite, I'll be blogging and providing details.

Is the servite/alemany game really on tv. I live in TX; can I watch the game on my computer? Do you know? I would love to see it. My son is a former player at Hart and offensive coordinator at Alemany.

Dad of 2 Crespi Students

Dear L.A. Times and Mr. Sondheimer:

My sons' school had endured countless racist references and insults from a poster on your blogs who posted above -- he goes by the name Escalante.

His antics include:

Spelling Crespi as Crepi;
Referring to the school as the "Crepi crips";
Saying that the school's players are from "South Central"
Other references to Crespi's providing opportunity to African-American students; and
many more insulting and race insensitive remarks.

I would ask that you better police these boards. Racism is something that should have been dismissed from civilized society long ago, and racism certainly has no place in an LA Times forum or involving children and high school sports.

The Crespi community has endured these insults throughout our football season, and now, this post is about basketball, and here we go again.

I implore the LA Times and Mr. Sondheimer to put an end to Escalante's childish and hateful rants, once and for all.

The Servite/Alemany game is also live with full TV, multi-camera production quality on foxsportswest.com
