Boys’ basketball: Harvard-Westlake wins title

North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake won the Oxnard Pacifica tournament championship with an 82-74 victory over Santa Maria Righetti. Damiene Cain scored 21 points and had 12 rebounds and Jordan Butler added 20 points.

L.A. Price handed North Hollywood Campbell Hall its first defeat, 72-62. Cole Huff had 22 points for Campbell Hall (8-1).

In Florida, Santa Ana Mater Dei defeated Orlando (Fla.) Christian, 62-58. Katin Reinhardt scored 23 points and Xavier Johnson 19.

In the San Fernando Valley tournament, Saugus defeated L.A. University, 81-77, in overtime. David Nwaba had 27 points and 14 rebounds for University. Chatsworth Sierra Canyon defeated Granada Hills Kennedy, 53-47, to improve to 6-0. Jahmel Taylor had 19 points. Sierra Canyon will play Woodland Hills El Camino Real on Monday. The Conquistadores defeated Van Nuys Grant, 77-50, with JT Nemit scoring 25 points.

Alemany defeated Crescenta Valley, 69-55. Marqueze Coleman had 24 points and Jordan Fuller added 20.

Encino Crespi defeated Calabasas, 79-51. Justin Rubia scored 17 points and Kenny Stenhouse added 13 points and 10 rebounds.
