Boys’ basketball: Chatsworth keeps rolling

Chatsworth won for the 10th time in 11 attempts on Thursday, knocking off Venice, 92-54, in the Cantwell-Sacred-Heart tournament.

Terrell Funches led the way with 22 points and Derrick Hector had 18. West Hills Chaminade defeated Hawthorne, 72-64. Freshman Jack Williams had 15 points and 13 rebounds.

In the Pacifica tournament, Harvard-Westlake cruised to a 101-23 victory over Sun Valley. Josh Hearlihy had 26 points.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (7-2) defeated Canyon Country Canyon (9-2), 66-48. Kennedy Edwards scored 21 points for the Knights.

Corona Centennial defeated Riverside King, 83-74, in a Big VIII League opener. Dominique Dunning had 32 points, including his 1,500th point of his high school career.
