Girls’ golf: Sophomore Elisabeth Bernabe wins individual title

Sophomore Elisabeth Bernabe from Anaheim Canyon continues to dominate in girls’ golf. On Monday, she won the Southern Section-Ford individual championship after shooting 75 at La Purisima Golf Course in Lompoc to secure a three-shot victory over Alice Jeong of North Torrance.

Last week, she shot a 65 and was the low scorer during the Southern Section team championships.
