Girls’ basketball: Good upcoming tournaments

The end of November means the beginning of some great girls’ basketball. Here are two upcoming tournaments that feature some of the top teams in Southern California.

The Ladycat Classic will be played Nov. 29-Dec. 4 at Brea Olinda High. The tourament features: Long Beach Poly, Arroyo Valley, Canyon Springs, Corona Centennial, Brea Olinda, Trabuco Hills, Summit, Orange Lutheran, Troy, Narbonne, Hanford and Oak Ridge. Check out the brackets.

The Inglewood City of Champions tournament is Nov. 29-Dec. 4 at Inglewood, Serra, St. Bernard and St. Mary’s. The participants include: Beverly Hills, Huntington Park, Muir, Serra, Monroe, Southeast, Oaks Christian, Bishop Montgomery, Reseda, Bell-Jeff, Redondo, Chatsworth, Inglewood, View Park, Westchester, Sierra Canyon, Harvard Westlake, Antelope Valley, St. Bernard, Fairfax, Alemany, Santa Monica, Long Beach Jordan and Mayfair.
