Football: Granada Hills comes up with the drive of the year
There have been long scoring drives, but few compare to what Granada Hills pulled off in its 17-13 win over Birmingham.
The Highlanders got the ball on their own 12-yard line following a punt. It was their opening drive of the game, and they ran off 27 plays and more than 16 minutes before scoring on a one-yard touchdown run.
"It was remarkable," Granada Hills Coach Billy Parra said.
Added Birmingham Coach Jim Rose: "It was three yards and a cloud of turf. It was the longest drive I've ever seen."

somelikeithot,
Have you not been reading the preps section? Crolson is no longer at Birmingham, now at a well revived Chaminade. Good coaching is not the end all of end all solutions, but it makes a huge difference in attracting talent. Look at Alemany as a parallel example.

What is going on at Birmingham? They are pitiful, a great football program that once was. This guy Rose needs to go back to coaching softball, sad to see this.
