Los Angeles Dorsey is 9-0 going into its Coliseum League showdown on Friday against Crenshaw, and the Dons are hoping to get back from injuries receivers Marvin Hall (ankle sprain) and Jaydon Mickens (broken toe).

I don’t know how Dorsey Coach Paul Knox is going to prevent those two standouts from playing. He might need to hide their helmets and shoulder pads.

‘If they can play, they’ll be out there,’ Knox said.

This game is going to come down to whether Dorsey’s offensive line can block Crenshaw’s powerful and quick defensive line. If it happens, quarterback Joseph Gray will be able to move the ball.

Whatever happens, the alumni are going to be in the stands and on the sideline talking and having fun. And watching and listening to them is worth the price of admission.
