Football: Corona Centennial scores on 19 consecutive possessions

Here’s the statistic of the night: Corona Centennial scored touchdowns on its first nine possessions against Corona Roosevelt en route to a 63-21 victory. That means the Huskies scored on 19 consecutive possessions over two games. The streak stopped when Centennial took a knee with under a minute left.

Barrinton Collins had three touchdown runs and rushed for 196 yards. Michael Eubank passed for three touchdowns and ran for two. He passed for 213 yards.

Centennial is 10-0 and won the Big VIII League championship.

Joey Legere rushed for 163 yards for Roosevelt (8-2).
