Football: Blackwell won’t play for Mater Dei

Injured standout receiver Victor Blackwell of Santa Ana Mater Dei has been declared out of Friday night’s Pac-5 Division playoff game against Long Beach Poly.

‘He can’t go,’ Coach Bruce Rollinson said.

Blackwell suffered a shoulder injury last week against Santa Margarita.
