In the only uncertain decision from the Pac-5 Division, La Puente Bishop Amat was given the No. 4 seed, edging out Long Beach Poly. The strength of the Serra League was a big factor.

The most intriguing opening matchup as long-time powers Poly and Santa Ana Mater Dei meeting. Mater Dei still doesn’t know if receiver Victor Blackwell will play. He suffered a dislocated shoulder last week.

A terrific quarterfinal game could be Santa Margarita and Mission Viejo.

A semifinal game between unbeaten Mission Hills Alemany and unbeaten Anaheim Servite is looming.
