Baseball: South Hills wins Cory Lidle tourney title

West Covina South Hills captured the championship of the Cory Lidle tournament on Sunday, defeating Temecula Great Oak, 7-4, in the final.

Ryan Peterson hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning for South Hills, and Ty France was named MVP of the tournament and awarded the Cory Lidle Foundation scholarship.
