Students and faculty at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame are in mourning after the death Tuesday of 16-year-old cross country runner Conor Lynch, who was killed while running with the team on a street in Sherman Oaks.

An 18-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of felony hit and run.

The school scheduled a prayer service for Wednesday morning when students arrived. Grief counselors were also expected to be on hand.
