Girls’ basketball: CS Northridge gets Mater Dei connection

Cal State Northridge’s women’s basketball team is getting a connection to Santa Ana Mater Dei.

The Matadors have hired the wife of Mate Dei girls’ Coach Kevin Kiernan, Christine Collins-Kiernan, as an assistant coach, and also received a commitment from Mater Dei guard Jessica Duarte.
