Football: Terrell Watson of Oxnard is running over people

Terrell Watson of Oxnard is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound senior running back who has been close to unstoppable this season. He has rushed for 1,523 yards and scored 21 touchdowns running behind a huge, effective offensive line.

Last week, he gained 356 yards against Oxnad Rio Mesa. He also has games of 240 yards against Westlake Village Westlake, 278 yards against San Luis Obispo, 185 yards against Ventura Buena, 169 yards against Santa Barbara San Marcos and 295 yards against Ventura.

‘He’s a stud,’ Westlake Coach Jim Benkert said.
