Football: Santa Margarita leads 14-12 at halftime

Cory Thomson took a screen pass from Adam Young 53 yards, but was knocked out of bounds at Orange Lutheran’s 21-yard line as time expired and Santa Margarita will have to settle for a 14-12 lead at halftime of tonight’s Trinity League opener at Orange Coast College.

This is a typical hard-hitting struggle between area rivals. Both coaches have had to resort to trick plays to generate some offense.
