Football: Mayfair to honor Alterraun Verner

Lakewood Mayfair will hold an assembly on Nov. 5 in the gym to honor former football standout Alterraun Verner, who went on to play for UCLA and the Tennessee Titans.

Verner was also an outstanding student, and during the presentation, the school will be retiring his jersey and adding him to its Wall of Fame.
