Running back Corbin Anderson made his season debut for Santa Ana Mater Dei Thursday night after being sidelined with a knee injury, and he responded with 113 yards rushing in 18 carries in the Monarchs’ 28-14 victory over Orange Lutheran.

It gives Mater Dei (5-2, 2-0) another weapon for its Trinity League showdown next Friday against Anaheim Servite at Angel Stadium.
