So Escalante,
Are we on for the Crespi/ND charity challenge? Yes or no?
Posted by: Justice Scalia | October 18, 2010 at 09:00 PM
I wouldn't do that to ya, Chris. Times are tough out there in Cabazon, for you and T. The offer was $250, American Cancer Society and Cystic Fibrosis.
I have no desire to meet you, a dirty rotten ND amum...it's all about the charities now.
Loser will post a link to a scan of the cashiers check made out to the winning charity on the article about the Crespi/ND game. If you win, donation will be in the name of Notre Dame Knights Football. If I win, donation to be in honor of Crespi Celts Football. No excuses, no BS.
GO CELTS!!! Win it for the CF Kids!!!

Fact: Chris Escalante WAS All-CIF, 30+ years ago, and is still living in the past.
Fact: Chris Escalante thought that All-CIF would carry him throughout his entire life. It didn't.
Fact: Chris Escalante is pinning his hopes on the Sherman Oaks Boys to beat the Celts. Except that the Celts have defeated two ranked teams this season and fell to #7 Amat by a field goal.
Fact: Chris Escalante and T are crammed into 1100 feet in Cabazon because Chris Escalante put All-CIF on his resume for 25 years, and no one cares a day after the season is over, or a day after you put your letterman's jacket in mothballs.
Fact: Chris Escalante is a coward. Chris Escalante will NEVER take the bet because he is unable to pay up when he loses. But put your money where your mouth is, big Chris. $250.00, if the Celts win, you pay it to MY favorite charity. If ND wins, I'll pay it to yours. My charity is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. What's yours? Name it, and bet's on.
Cabazon, Banning, whatever...1100 feet. GO CELTS!!!

no question Alemany is the class of the league this year. transition year for the knights with all the sophomores. we still make the playoffs and the celties will be quickly out of the playoff picture after Alemany slaps them silly friday. you can beat all those lower division teams and call them state powers all you want. as I explained to the justice center's janitor, once the real season starts, the celties will fold up. 0-2 will probably remind him of 1953 when the celties........
Posted by: escalante | October 17, 2010 at 02:59 PM
why do the facts get under your skin so deeply?
FACT: over the last 20 yrs crespi's record against ND: 1-16
FACT: ND is in 1st place
FACT: crespi is in last place
FACT: crespi's coach is a ND graduate
FACT: crespi had to drop to D-1O recently
FACT: crespi's own coach called crespi's colors s---and p---
FACT: the message is head to head
FACT: justice center janitor evades the message
FACT: same person contradicted himself about coach ross
FACT: admitted to contradiction in response to press box jon
FACT: constantly refers to tainted title of '86
FACT: calls me idiot while hiding behind moniker
FACT: while my name is clear, admits to being scared to ID
FACT: will respond to this showing mental midget mentality
FACT: head to head is way down deep under skin

Escalante and Scalia - you need to stop this silly bickering until the ND-Crespi game. Alemany is going to win the Serra League anyways! You guys will be battling for third place.

Living in the past? What year did you graduate, Mr. All-CIF chillin' in Cabazon? 1975???
Banning, Cabazon, what's the difference?
Posted by: Justice Scalia | October 16, 2010 at 08:22 PM
keep living in the past. it never fails. it's 1986 again. head to head is in your head.
Posted by: escalante | October 16, 2010 at 01:44 PM
Celt Dad,
You're right, the Crespi/Bishop Amat contest was one helluva gave.
It reminds me of 1986, when Crespi suffered their only loss to St. John Bosco, 33-27. The two met again at the Big-A in the BIG-5 Conference Championship, with the Celts winning 49-14.
There is an excellect chance that these two teams will meet again in the playoffs. Kudos to the Celts for playing an excellent game against the #8 team.
I think the Serra League could end up like the Trinity League has been in the past, with Servite, Mater Dei and Orange Lutherean each suffering one league loss and ending in a tie for the league title. Amat, Alemany and Crespi could both end up there this year.
GO CELTS!!!
Posted by: Justice Scalia | October 16, 2010 at 10:54 AM
OK Escalante, it's really sad that you started out experiencing the spoils of being a Sherman Oaks Boy...you were ALL-CIF!!! But then what?
Then you and T went from Sherman Oaks to Northridge to North Hollywood, then Palm Springs and Banning and now to Cabazon, rocking 100% of eleven hundred square feet.
Notre Dame High School must be proud of its native son.
I guess that's what happens when you spend your life falling back on being ALL-CIF when you're 17. One day you wake up, 53 years old and living in Cabazon in a cozy 1100 ft.
Posted by: Justice Scalia | October 16, 2010 at 08:22 AM
You are out of your mind, dude. How can you just take two great high school games and hate so much?
Posted by: Celt Dad | October 16, 2010 at 05:04 AM
Serra League Standings:
Notre Dame 1-0
Bishop Amat 1-0
Alemany 0-0
Loyola 0-1
Crespi 0-1
Posted by: escalante | October 16, 2010 at 02:21 AM
as I opened up my morning paper, I saw that ND is in first place and crespi is in last. no more cupcakes janitor. you have to play with the big boys now. enjoy your 0-4 league season. the truth really hurts, doesn't it? when you get spanked year after year by ND it causes the janitor to evade the message and talk about 1965. that season is over by the way. head to head is under your skin. it's saturday so you can write about me all day. head to head is in your head. have a nice day.
