Football: Crespi holds on for 53-47 victory

Encino Crespi recovered an onside kick and picked up a first down to run out the clock and hold off visiting Woodland Hills Taft, 53-47, in tonight’s intersectional shootout at Crespi High.

The teams combined for 15 touchdowns and 1,073 yards of offense.

Taft finished with 622 yards (431 passing and 191 rushing).

Crespi finished with 451 yards (87 rushing and 364 passing).
