One reason Mission Hills Alemany is 7-0 has to do with the play of its cornerbacks, senior Saladin McCullough and sophomore Steven Mitchell.

McCullough has two interceptions and Mitchell three. Both hung tough last week going against Encino Crespi’s talented group of receivers.

McCullough is also a dangerous running back, averaging 11 yards a carry. His father was a standout at Oregon.
