Football: A weekend to relax

Football coaches won’t have to worry about what their players are doing this weekend. It’s pretty clear that many are going to be sitting in a movie theater watching ‘Jackass 3D.’

At least that was the reward for La Puente Bishop Amat quarterback Rio Ruiz after this team’s 31-28 victory over Encino Crespi.

‘He just wants to go laugh and not think,’ said Ruiz’s father, Rudy.
