With three commitments from high school players in Southern California already, Boston College isn’t finished. The Eagles are now focused on 6-foot-6 Damiene Cain from North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake.

Cain still has visits lined up with Colorado and Hawaii. Colorado is also taking a run at Wesley Saunders from L.A. Windward.

Boston College has commitments from guard Lonnie Jackson of Valencia, forward Ryan Anderson of Long Beach Poly and center K.C. Caudill of Brea Olinda. If it gets Cain, Harvard-Westlake Coach Greg Hilliard said, ‘They want to make it California East.’

In other basketball news, Los Angeles Loyola Coach Jamal Adams said his team’s top senior player, Ryan Oliver, will be lost for the season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
