Football: Servite takes a 10-0 lead

Servite’s defense is playing well in its opener against Oceanside. Cornerback Jordan Jones came up with his team’s third turnover, making an interception and returning it 44 yards to the Oceanside 21.

Servite drove to the one-yard line before settling for a 19-yard field goal by Connor Loftus. The Friars lead, 10-0, with 5:58 left in the second quarter.
