Football: Oaks Christian defeats St. Bonaventure in OT, 33-32

Backup quarterback Richie Harrington put together two second-half scoring drives after replacing starter Trevor Gretzky to rally Oaks Christian (1-1) to a 33-32 overtime victory over St. Bonaventure (1-1) on Friday.

After Harrington completed a 16-yard touchdown pass to Blair Holliday (correction) in overtime to give the Lions a 33-26 lead, St. Bonaventure's Brandon Rominger missed the extra-point attempt following a 14-yard touchdown pass by Marc Evans.

horrible calls in this game i was there not rooting for either one and must say i hate when the refs take a game from another team .i hope this crew doesn't ref any of our games.bad bad bad crew for both teams hope somebody turns in a game film so they get fired ..ive never seen 3 helmet to head calls in a season let alone one game..but i guess they want kids to get there knees blown out because coaching staff will have to tell there players to hit real low..let the kids play don't take games from teams that play there butts off

Saw the game it was as exciteing a football games as I've ever seen...diden't even notice the referees. It's odd it was a St Bonaventure home game. However, when you choke you gotta blame somebody. The offensive line of Oak's particularly #66 never gave up and manhandled the defense.

It wasnt the refs who lost game as there were horrible calls that benefited both, it was St. Bonnie players who dropped 3 ints that hit them directly in their chests! SB players who dropped numerous passes and their kicker who missed 2 extra points. The final one would have sent the game into 2nd OT. No question Oaks was lucky but St. Bonnie blew it and Oaks took advantage. If SB intercepts 1st pass in OT that my 92 yro grandmother who has a cane would have caught the game is over and OH YEAH, what team doesnt run on to the field after coming back 19-0 to win 33-32 in OT on the road against the #11 ranked team in the state? Where are you from?

Too bad the refs were obviously on Oaks' side. Several bad calls made by refs resulted in an unfortunate loss for St. Bonaventure. Even worse - Oaks rushed the home field at the end of the game, which was so disrespectful. All of that money, but no class....

Worst game I have seen in years. Saint Bonaventure received the short end of the stick. Referees made horrible calls through out the game. Oaks' best players were the reffs. Oaks Christian were "given" a win they did not deserve.
