Football: More debate on private vs. public schools

September 1, 2010 |  8:02 am

The debate on whether there should be separate playoff divisions for private and public schools in the Southern Section is not going away.

Steve Fryer from the Orange County Register has come up with a proposal.

With football starting, there's going to be even more focus, particularly on the Marmonte League, since the public schools are about to take on Ventura St. Bonaventure and Westlake Village Oaks Christian.

And just wait until it becomes clear how many basketball transfers there are when all the schools finally open their doors next month.
