Mission Viejo has defeated Long Beach Poly, 37-7, in a nonleague showdown at Veterans Stadium.
The Diablos, ranked No. 1 by The Times, dominated from start to finish, forcing five turnovers and blocking a punt. Dallas Kessman ran for 137 yards and four touchdowns and Jahleel Pinner added 110 yards and one touchdown.
