Football: Mater Dei tumbles in latest poll

After losing to Carson in its season opener, Santa Ana Mater Dei has dropped from being ranked No. 2 in the Southern Section preseason Pac-5 Division poll to No. 10 in this week’s coaches-media poll.
Mission Viejo (1-0) is No. 1, followed by Anaheim Servite (1-0), Long Beach Poly (1-0), Lakewood (1-0) and Los Alamitos (1-0).
