Football: Manual Arts opens with 60-8 victory

Delwin Craig scored four touchdowns and Mike Tetteh added two touchdowns to help Los Angeles Manual Arts defeat Sun Valley, 60-8, in a season opener Wednesday at Manual Arts.

It was the first football game in school history for Sun Valley and the first game for Manual Arts Coach Anthony Brady.

Canoga Park defeated Washington, 34-7. Fabian Alomar, a sophomore quarterback, passed for 257 yards and two touchdowns. He's a transfer from Van Nuys Montclair Prep.

I would say give props to Brady for scheduling a team that played its first game period. Things will go down but at least there is something to cheer about.

GREAT job coach Brady! I wish we would have made the coaching change earlier because your making a huge difference! I dont think we scored 60 points all of last year combined. anyways, keep up the great work and so glad we have a coach that knows what he's doing!
