Football: Jody Thomas having big game for Servite

Senior defensive lineman Jody Thomas picked up a loose ball on the Oceanside nine-yard line and ran it in for a touchdown, and Servite has taken a 17-0 lead over Oceanside with 1:41 left in the second quarter.

Oceanside has a 39-game unbeaten streak and hasn’t lost since the opening game of the 2007 season. But the Pirates have committed four turnovers.
