More than 100 Gardena Serra football players are participating in an annual community service project painting at 10 locations around Gardena on Saturday.
Coach Scott Altenberg might know a lot about Xs and Os, but he has a long ways to go in training his players how to paint.
‘Someone just painted my foot on accident,’ Altenberg said in a text message. ‘I guess as painters, we need a little work.’
