Football: It’s a homecoming for Stanford players

Stanford is coming to the Rose Bowl on Saturday night to play UCLA in a Pacific 10 Conference opener, and there are lots of former Southern California high school standouts in the starting lineup for the Cardinal.

They include tight end Konrad Reuland (Mission Viejo), offensive lineman Jonathan Martin (North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake), nose tackle Sione Fua (Crespi), cornerback Richard Sherman (Compton Dominguez) and safety Delano Howell (Newhall Hart).
