Football: Ex-Crescenta Valley coach Gordon Warnock dies

Gordon Warnock, who guided Crescenta Valley High to a Southern Section football championship in 1973, died on Wednesday at his La Crescenta residence. He was 79.
He coached the Falcons from 1966-76 and 1979-84.
