Servite needed just four plays to score on its first drive of the second half and increase its lead to 34-0 over host Granada Hills Kennedy. Quarterback Cody Pittman hooked up with wide receiver Malik Felton for a 33-yard touchdown and kicker Connor Loftus added the extra point.

Kennedy drove to the Friars’ 30-yard line on its first possession of the third quarter but a fourth-down pass by quarterback Anthony Chavez fell incomplete and Servite took over on downs.

Pittman is 12 of 15 for 100 yards and has rushed for 70 yards in eight carries so far. Servite is driving again and will try to convert a fourth-and-one at Kennedy’s 36-yard line when the fourth quarter begins.
