Football: Nine-part series begins Wednesday

A nine-part series previewing the top high school football players in Southern California begins Wednesday in The Times.

Leading off the series is a profile on Los Angeles Crenshaw running back De’Anthony Thomas.

Each day, a different position will be profiled, including a feature story, along with a chart listing players to watch based on recommendations from high school coaches while also taking into account evaluations from Internet recruiting services and college recruiters.
